- For the chocolate truffles
- 2/3 cup whipping cream
- 12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- For the coatings
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup shredded sweetened coconut
- 1/2 cup unsalted finely chopped nuts
Bring the whipping cream to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add the chocolate chips to the pan and whisk until melted and smooth. Remove from the heat source and mix in the vanilla extract.
